Modern 3 bed country cottage

Beautiful done, cleans and everything works. The views are breathtaking.

We checked in smoothly on Friday and everything was exactly as described, and our stay started off well. However, on the very next day — Saturday — the property owner arrived unannounced, knocked on the door, and introduced herself. While we have no issue with her introducing herself in principle, we found this visit unexpected and disruptive. Throughout the booking and pre-arrival communication, all contact had been via messaging, so there was no prior notice that she intended to visit in person during our stay. This interrupted our holiday and gave us a sense that our privacy was not fully respected, even though we had already settled in. We hope in future the owner will give guests advance notice before visiting, so guests can enjoy their stay without feeling disturbed or caught off guard.

Can't fault Four Mile House. Has everything you need. Close to amenities and near town. Spotless, comfortable 💯

The kettle and shower heads could do with a limescale treatment The sofa could do with replacing, one of the nest of tables needs repair/replacement. It was very difficult to find in the dark when we arrived (not sure how this could be improved though)

The house was lovely. Modern, comfortable & perfect for the family. Air conditioned in every bedroom. Plenty of room & even some toys for the kids to play. Can’t thank the host enough.
