Fairytale Home

Fairytale home was just the heart of old town Agroploi. We were met with a warm welcome by Salvatore who gave us all the info needed for our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean with very comfy beds and linens. The bedroom on the first floor had an decent size ensuite bathroom and good shutters on the windows for a dark room at night, the bedroom on the 2nd floor was an attic room, so had skylights with no blinds and very low headroom in places. This didn't bother us, but the early morning light may be a problem for some. The bathroom on the 2nd floor was small, with low headroom, but did the job just fine. Aircon was in every room, but too many appliances going at once can trip the fuse, but Salvatore showed us how to fix it😃 Paid parking was about a 5 min walk from the apartment. Thank you Fairytale Apartment- we loved it!

The only small things I could suggest is that there are no racks in the oven if anyone wanted to use it, and maybe a frying pan could be added🙂

This nearly renovated property is a gem, very clean and decorated with great taste. All you need for a good stay, bathrooms are new and big, bed is amazingly comfortable view of the sea and the streets of the old city are lovely. Host very attentive.

The location was really nice and very authentic. If you have mobility concerns there are a lot of stairs. The unit was clean and good for a one or two night stay. Good value. Very good family restaurant La Locanda around the corner.

The property is in a ZTL zone so parking is a ways away.

Quaint little abode with cool views and castle nearby despite some difficulty in finding the place.

Booking.com has a recurring problem with it's apartment property descriptions whereby it advertises "whole apartment" and specifies the available area. However, when you arrive, you find part of the facility that was pictured has been locked off. That is what happenes here, where half of the lodging has been excluded. I'm sure it's not the owner's intention to deceive, but a miscommunication resulting from a glitch in the booking platform....needs to be corrected.

The location of the apartment was great.

The adage, ‘you get what you pay for’ is true of this property. We started out by renting a 2 bathroom, 2 bedroom apartment. After booking a message was sent that said if we wanted the extra bedroom and bathroom there would be an additional charge. The parking was in a lot, about a kilometer away (only residential parking near the apartment). It was cold out and we needed to run the heater. But we were told we could only run it for two hours at a time or there would be a power outage. Turning the heat on was also very noisy, like a plane taking off. Turning the heat off, it was instantly, uncomfortably cold in the place. It was a cheap rental, but not worth it.

The property is in a prime location in old town. There are nice views of the sea. The bed is very comfortable. We greatly appreciated the variety of breakfast foods and drinks that the host provided.

Really nice place! Perfectly clean, 5 min walk from the center, nice view, very quiet, really great value! Never had such a nice place for so little money. We hope come back soon!
