Chalet Brightstone Kingsdown Cliffs location with indoor pool, tennis court, mini-golf short walk to beach and 3 great local pubs

A perfectly equipped chalet in a fantastic location. Kids aged 12 and 9 had a fab time enjoying the on site swimming pool, tennis court, playground, table tennis, mini golf and making friends. A few minutes walk to a great pub, the Zetland Arms, for an evening meal or drink by the sea. Lots of family fun in the surrounding area as well. Great hosts who sent info about the chalet, and local area, ahead of time and made check in a breeze. We had a brilliant week and would definitely go back.

Really well kept chalet in a great location, my children loved the fact there was sports equipment they could use on the tennis court and mini golf course. Lots of added comforts which made our stay comfortable.

Hot water was temperamental for some reason, just when I go to contact the owner it would start again. Didn't really effect us too much so didn't keep bothering the owner. Chalet is situated right next to the back of the pool where unfortunately there is a really loud humming noise which did effect sleep at night as we had to have the window open, as it's hot upstairs. The back garden wasn't accessible which we were aware of prior to arrival, would look lovely once sorted. The stairs are quite steep just incase anyone has mobility issues.

The chalet was very well equipped. The beds and pillows were nice and we slept well. We used the swimming pool. Played tennis and table tennis. Crazy golf was a favourite for the grandchildren. We had coffee on the decking with the sun shining on us and a view of the sea. We had a lovely meal at the Rising Sun pub, a short walk away. The local shop and deli were used to keep us well fed along with the little shop on site.

There was anything we didn't like.

We liked the location - lots of tourist attractions nearby. The holiday park itself was very nice with a good indoor pool, children’s playground and some sports facilities. We appreciate the sports equipment provided by the host as well as the board games, DVD library and all sorts of useful kitchen and baby stuff. My wife is especially grateful for the good quality cookware and a dishwasher. There was literally everything that might be needed in a holiday house. I should also mention the top quality furniture and electrical appliances. Thank you!

It would be great if more attention was payed to the cleannesses of some kitchen textiles and a bathroom rug- we had to wash them on the first day. And I would make the cleaner empty the hoover container more often. Everything else was exceptionally clean.

Shower and toilet very cramped,no handles in the shower could be dodgy getting in and out.Limited cupboard space.

Clean and tidy property. A home away from home. Close to all the facilities of the park and a short walk to the beach and local pubs.

Could not find any negatives.

We had a fantastic holiday at Chalet Brightstone. Everything and more in the property for a fully self catered holiday. The property is of high specification, immaculate and luxurious. All the extras such as games, tennis rackets and crazy golf equipment is really useful. Having the baby equipment already at the property meant we could travel lighter. The host is responsive and information provided about the property is exceptional. The on-site swimming pool is lovely and the kids play area is really good.
