"Great property with good communication from the host and more space than you would ever need!"

Really big property, very comfortable and great facilities. Perfect for a large group!

The decor is quite dated and some damaged parts (wardrobes, drawers, curtain rails etc) - not that we used these. There is also a dangling cable for a light fitting in the games room which could do with addressing.

"Enjoyable stay"

The bathrooms and beds were clean.

There was a number of things we discussed with the host that he was most apologetic for whilst we were staying there, however, I think a number of them could have been rectified before our stay to save us having to report them if basic checks on the property had been done before we arrived. We expected the property to be dated but we did not expect it not to be clean in areas. The main bathroom shower is almost unusable and it didn't help that we were unable to use the en-suite showers due to a leak or the bath as the plug did not work. We enjoyed our stay but as discussed with the host there are a number of things that could make this property a really amazing place to stay if more attention to detail was paid. The host was fair to us and once issues were reported to him he did his best to rectify them as best he could at the time.

"Great stay well worth the value"

Mayfield villa is a very unique property and perfect for a large group stay. We travelled up for a weekend in Manchester City centre so unfortunately had a quite a lot planned but the property is good enough to just stay in all Weekend. I mean what other property do you get a swimming pool, sauna, pool table and pub all under the same roof. Aaron and the team were really accommodating as well and were available throughout the check in process to ensure we understand how everything works. I even left a shirt in the property which has now been mailed back to me. Brilliant stay & would definitely visit this property again!!

"Superb"

Everything was amazing. From the host to the property, it was great.

The showers in the property were running on tanks i guess, so the water pressure wasn't really good. However, to compensate that, you have an amazing pool.
