2 Bedroom Eco House with South Facing Balcony

The house was lovely it had a lovely garden & a balcony on the top floor. Everything you needed was there, very clean and comfortable. It was very easy to get into Nottingham with reasonable & punctual taxis or trams, we enjoyed our stay & hope to stay again

Although it had a lot of stairs, it was very comfortable, had a lovely view, and was within walking distance (20 minutes or so) from the centre of the city/train station. The neighborhood was calm and people were friendly. Thanks!

The location and distance from the town

The house is really cosy and we immediately felt at home. We were in Nottingham to visit family for Christmas and really appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations to make it feel festive. The kitchen is really well equipped for both cooking utensils and crockery/cutlery. We also appreciated having a dining room and decent-sized dining table to eat at. There’s a large table and barbecue for outdoor cooking/eating in warmer weather. The garden and upstairs balcony would be ideal in the summer. It’s well-situated with some good pubs nearby for drinks/food and the river and park on the doorstep for walks. It’s close enough to walk into town (about 25 minutes to the city centre) but the tramway is close by if preferred. Phil and Louise were very helpful with their instructions and recommendations. We hope to stay again next time we visit.

We had a short stay here and it was wonderful. The property had everything we needed. It's well presented, comfortable, modern and clean. The hosts had thoughtfully turned on the heating so it was warm for our arrival (end November), and decorated with a Christmas Tree/ornaments. The location was perfect for us and our dog. Immediately outside the front door is a huge field/parkland area and access to footpaths to walk along the river. There is a large internal porch which was ideal for drying damp dog paws and taking off our shoes. The weather wasn't warm enough to sit outside on the balcony, but it looks a lovely area to use. There is space for one car on a private driveway immediately outside the front door, and an external light sensor usefully comes on. We would definitely return.

There's not anything to not like, but if I had to say something, it would be that the back garden is nicely done but overlooked, so not private. However, the views, riverside and parkland at the front more than make up for this and the balcony space.
