After reading all the reviews I was hoping that the comments in regards of the cleanliness was not really the case or that they would be considered and changed. Unfortunately, the flat was welcoming us with a smell that could not be « aired «  as only two windows would open. Not very clean on second looks.

Truly magical place. Sparking clean with amazing panoramic fishtank which we loved. Great shower with built in radio :) Amazing spiral staircase that leads you upstairs. Everything spot on. Woodlands across the garden which we enjoyed. Peaceful, quiet, a real gem. Only few minutes by car to Manchester city centre. Golf course just few meters from the property. Ideal for families and groups of friends travelling. Pet friendly. Amazing people running this place. We love the place guys! Keep the good work!

if I was to give any positive feedback at all - which is cutting it fine - l'd say the property was spacious and had potential to be a good stay if none of the other issues prevailed.

where to start - property filthy/dusty/unsafe for children/multiple safety issues/concerns. Do not recommend to stay here. Two areas with exposed live wires (apparently this was fine as the children cant reach them? I have a tall 11yo who could!) safety issues with spiral stair case - currently being held together at points with a shoe lace and no barrier at the top to stop anyone falling down the gaps. my 3 year old nearly fell down multiple times. He had to use these stairs as the bathroom was upstairs. Deep fish tank not secured and open hatch left with ladders leading up to this. Also tank pump connected outside to a internal extension lead - exposed to the elements. The garden area that's supposed to be an nice outdoor area to sit/ play cluttered with electrical equipment/shoes/ glass panes etc. Drawers had graffiti on them and also filled with previous guests belongings ie toothbrushes, false nails, dirty make up wipes. Hairs found in toilet. Taps stained with toothpaste from previous guests. carpets/worktops not cleaned for arrival. No working lighting in main hall way for entrance. Plug sockets held together with duct tape. Broken bed with MDF between base and mattress. Multiple ripped areas to base of bed and dirty. previous guest left review with a "clean me" in dust on shelves from within last month (seen after leaving property) and this message and dust remained on shelves. We had to vacate the property due to the multitude of safety/cleanliness concerns. Not after a free stay like the previous reviews response as we certainly did not stay here- unacceptable that this property is even allowed to be advertised in its current condition with booking.com. Highlighting this for future guests. Finally got a refund after over a week of back and forth but was told I’d only get a refund if I removed my review. Tells you everything. Was told by booking.com I could review after. So here it is.

Great quite location. Beautiful decorated and key feature has to be the spiral stair case and wall fish tank. The kitchen had all appliances fridge freezer;, microwave, washing machine, kettle, cooker and cups and plates to cater for your stay. The bed room had a comfy double bed with plenty off cupboard space to hang your cloths and a onsuit beautiful bathroom. The out side was decked so you can sit outside also. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, quite place to stay other then in city centre.

Beautiful quite location amidst nature, good interiors, overall comfortable stay, aquarium, spacious open dining kitchen, cute spiral stairs.

Bed linen could have been cleaned properly, but plenty of extra duvet and pillows

The window fish tank, location was good (vicinity to Manchester) Based on owner's response and for some reason, my photos of how filthy the place actually was have disappeared please feel free to get in contact with me before booking this place and I will send you all the photos I took. I will admit there was a parking spot, however, there are 3 flats and only parking spot, which was taken by someone staying in another flat.

Wasn't in a golf course No parking onsite Untidy/dirty bed, shower etc. Loose electrical cables hanging No bath and the shower had been unplugged Paper thin walls Didn't know which flat we were stopping in as they never told us Smell of damp in the conservatory The road to the flat isn't car friendly in the slightest Graffiti on the wardrobe Hair in the bed and this is when we knew we had to leave and go back home
