Family Seaside Retreat - 5 minutes to Beach

A very bright accommodation for a family, near the beach.

The heating is very temperamental, and there were no instructions. The information folder was missing so no information on how to operate appliances. Also the cleaners could be a little more thorough.

A short walk to East wittering beach and shops and restaurants or a 5 minute drive to the beautiful West Wittering Beach this house is deceptive on outside very spacious living areas with several seating areas . 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms . Parking easily for 3 cars .Nice quiet area no noise at night. We were 5 adults 2 families and grandparents , and 4 children under 6 and there was plenty of room for us all. Well equipped kitchen and utility room all the essentials for family cooking . Some really thoughtful provision for those with small children, travel cots , high chair , safety gates kiddies cutlery and dishes , some toys and books provided.Overall a really comfortable stay . There is a nice garden but sadly very boggy at the time we stayed due to recent rain. Good pre stay communication from agents and helpful recommending a bakery for a special birthday , also helpful and available easily by phone during stay to resolve a couple of minor issues .

Staying at end of season some of the decor and fitments felt a bit tired and a bit of extra cleaning in some minor areas. Bathroom upstairs is en suite . One of bathrooms downstairs only has an over bath shower / a shower curtain might be useful . Heating was tricky to manage at times thermostat not always responsive.
