The Old Stables, The River Severn, Shrewsbury

Nothing not to like about our stay! Lovely cozy apartment with added benefit of balcony with views of lovely garden and secure parking. Great hosts who gave excellent advice on places to eat and visit. Would recommend and look forward to staying again!

The property was situated in a lovely location, right next to the river and a scenic 5 minute walk into town. It was beautifully decorated with thoughtful detail, very clean and well presented. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and am looking forward to returning in the near future.

Handiness to town & quiet

Gorgeous, tastefully decorated room, conservatory & balcony with a view over the garden & the weir in the distance. Every detail has been thought of! Very welcoming host, Mike even let us use the kitchen to assemble a dessert we were taking to a party. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay. A light and airy clean room with a lovely seating area and balcony overlooking the River. Location was great too, 15min or so walk into the town along the river. Super friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We shall be staying here again.

Absolutely amazing location - a 15 minute walk along the canal to the town centre. The house and apartment are stunning and it has been tastefully decorated as well as having a sun room and balcony for morning coffee. Hosts are wonderful and so nice to talk to - couldn’t do more for you if they tried. Biscuits and apples were a lovely touch as was the fresh milk.

Nothing I didn’t like at all - a slightly bigger fridge would be perfect though but it wasn’t an issue.
