Surfers Paradise - Cabin next to Yankee Beach

The cabin was lovely and just what I wanted. It was close to little shops where I was able to get fruit, vegetables and eggs. It was in between where my friends were. Good facilities in cabana.

This property was NOT next to Yankee Beach. In fact, it was too dangerous to even walk there due to large trucks driving up and down roads, and they did NOT slow down. I had to jump off the road every time vehicles came past. I did NOT want to do this on the sealed highway it would have been too risky to walk. There as no sign to Yankee Beach as per instructions. Friends drove me to the end of the track there, and I would not have found it otherwise. I was NOT able to find the signs or the walk to Escamequita beach either as there was not Rustic Restaurant as per instructions. It would have been 40 minutes or more to walk there, not 20 minutes as the instructions stated. Bus times in Instructions were highly inaccurate, and I had a great deal of difficulty getting back both times I went to San Juan Del Sur and had to take an expensive taxi the first time. The next time I was still told wrong times, so a half day in town ended up being a very exhausting full day, waiting 4 1/2 hours! I did not feel comfortable there as they kept trying to CANCEL my booking. The ATM machines in the area run out of money on payday for locations, that everyone knows about. I had to pay first 4 days with USD cash I had. Friends drove me to town to get money due to demand to pay it on the Sunday but the Manager ws not there to receive it. I paid the further 8 days on the Monday, but continued to feel very uncomfortable at the property, as once again they were asking me to leave on the Monday. I did my best to get the cash and it was not my fault machines run out of money at end of month there. I did not feel I was able to relax and enjoy my time there due to the constant asking me to cancel my booking, and constant demands to pay, when I had the cash and wasn't able to give it to the Manager. I paid 4 days in advance and then the 8 days in advance on the day it was due.
