Stairs are quite steep with luggage.

Very central location in middle of high street with easy walk to the quay. Property was immaculate with high standard of decor and superb views. Lots of space and very well equipped kitchen. Perfect!!

Nothing to dislike

Excellent location, right on the high street. Great choice of cafes nearby and a Tesco for groceries. Excellent directions to find the road and parking. Incredibly handy to have the dedicated parking space behind the building with lots of space to turn around (it's a single-width narrow road in). Very comfy beds. View from the lounge is stunning. Kitchen is fully equipped. Whole place is genuinely like a home from home. Highly recommend.

Absolutely not the owner's fault but the noise from the high street was an issue on both Friday and Saturday nights with drunken teenagers shouting at 1am and noisy motorbikes at 4am. Not helped by the single glazing but perhaps it's a listed building and they can't change that. Flat can get quite warm/muggy quite quickly as it's on the top floor. Windows are old sash and can be stiff but, once they are open, there is a lovely through-breeze. Tricky to keep open with the road noise but the fan in the twin bedroom helped. Difficult to dry things if you don't want to tumble dry them as we couldn't find a large hanging/standing drying rack. There was a small one that went over a radiator but not big enough for our hammam towels (we went swimming at the salt water baths). There are a lot of stairs up to the flat! Bear that in mind if you have suitcases and groceries. it's a proper work out.
