Une honte. J’ai envoyé une demande claire plus d’une semaine avant l’arrivée. Aucune réponse. Rien. Silence radio total. Et le plus fort ? On ose ensuite m’affirmer qu’ils “n’ont jamais reçu de demande”. C’est du grand n’importe quoi, digne d’une gestion amateur au possible. Quand un gîte est incapable de répondre à un simple message, on comprend immédiatement le niveau : ➡️ désorganisation, ➡️ manque total de professionnalisme, ➡️ aucune considération pour les clients. Si déjà la communication est à ce point catastrophique, je n’imagine même pas le reste. Établissement à éviter absolument. Perte de temps garantie.

This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived, we were met by two very unclean, intoxicated men. The younger man, Matthieu, was completely deranged — obsessed with us having a drink with him right after we arrived, and showing strong signs of drug use. The property itself was disgusting. There were over 50 cats roaming around in extremely unhealthy condition, and the whole place smelled of cat urine. The kitchen was full of old food and wine, and the general hygiene was appalling. Our room had no lock, no key was provided, and the bed was so filthy I refused to even sit on it. The hosts were asleep when we arrived, seemed confused as to why we were there, and later tried to invite themselves to our dinner. They even chased our car as we were leaving, which was frightening. This accommodation is unsafe and completely unsuitable for anyone — especially women or families with children. Booking.com has escalated our complaint, but until this listing is removed, I strongly warn others: do not stay here.

The property is well remote in the countryside as I wanted and very well equipped. The decoration is gorgeous and cozy.

Nothing wrong about the property

Alain would do breakfast and dinner at unusual hours and would include the rest of our team who come for dinner. Always had a well stocked fridge for the thirsty Aussies. A great host

The old inn had character built 1100AD with stunning huge beams in the bedroom. Very homely. The rural setting surrounded by farms was peaceful. Picking blackberries in the lane way and watching the farm animals near the inn. Pigs, goats, poultry. Being cooked a three course meal for ten people with great wines and a continental breakfast for ten days and not expensive. Even our washing was done for us.

Our room upstairs above the inn's dining area was a little noisy with locals drinking some nights, rooms further along okay and the other accommodation house there was quiet..

The proprietor was very welcoming. We arrived quite late which was not a problem. Comfortable bed and good shower. Nice breakfast with brioche and home made jams. The property is old and charming in the countryside away from it all
