Owner went out of their way to provide a travel cot for our toddler.

There are a lot of stairs to climb. Worth guests being aware of though it didn’t bother us too much

We loved the apartment, was nicer and more spacious than it looked from the photos and it was well located. Communication with the hotel, and key pickup, was super easy but we didn't really message during our stay. Beds were comfy, extra pillows and towels were provided. Really no big complaints!! We loved the place.

Outside noise early in the morning and late at night. It cannot be controlled by the hotel of course, but do expect very loud noises from trash/ bottle collection and street cleaners from 6:00am until 8:30am. We also were kept up from noise (shouting, singing, fireworks) of people on the street and plaza until 2:00am a few nights. So that was annoying but not their fault. Most of Lucca seemed very quiet at night with a few exceptions, including this area. Earplugs would help! Also some pods to use the coffee machine would be nice. You can easily buy them around the corner, or just walk outside for delicious and cheap coffee, but like just 2 available for the first morning would have been really nice. And on that topic, some basics like sugar, salt & pepper, and olive oil would be a nice touch. The only reason we would not stay here again is the excessive noise early in the morning. If you wake up before 6:00am this won't be an issue!

Check In sehr unkompliziert. Alles genau beschrieben. Zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Einrichtung recht neu.

Man glaubt man wohnt am Puccini Platz, ja der Hauseingang ist dort aber der Fensterblick ist eine kleine enge Nebenstraße, deswegen gibt es es keine Fotos mit Ausblick - clever. Dritter Stock okay aber das Treppenhaus ist mit einem Treppenlift vollgebaut (dadurch nur halb so breit) Koffer tragen ist nicht einfach. Zum Schluss sind die Treppen mehr als Steil. Die Aircondition schaltet sich ab warum auch immer - haben wir höflich nachgefragt- keine Antwort. Die „Treppe“ in den Maisonette Teil ist so steil und abgenutzt nur was für Kinder. Die Schlüsselbox ist um die Ecke an einer Stange befestigt gegen die alle Hunde in Lucca gepinkelt haben - nicht schön der Geruch während man versucht den Code einzugeben. Aber in Italien Plastikweingläser - die am Pool noch Sinn machen - im Schrank zu finden geht gar nicht. Die generelle Lage der Wohnung in Lucca ist gut aber ansonsten gibt’s da noch viel Luft nach oben bei dem Preis.

The location and comfort of this property is excellent.

Very steep stairs in the apartment is the only reason I didn’t give a 10/10.

Perfect location in the historic center, monuments, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores - everything is close by. The house is located on a beautiful square and has a genius loci. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully furnished, everything seemed new and very clean. After check-in, good communication with the administrators. Parking is possible for 1 EUR/h 400 m from the house or free of charge outside the ramparts (about 1 km from the house).

The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep and narrow (visible on the pictures) - ok for us, but unsuitable for small children or elderly people, the ceiling in this bedroom is low, plus when it rained the upstairs bedroom leaked (we reported the problem, so it I guess it will be fixed). We received the check-in instructions only 3 hours before arrival, which made us a bit nervous - we would have welcomed the instructions earlier, so that we wouldn't have to urge it on the way, when driving.
