Nice little house, easy access to city centre

No microwave Parking a bit steep at 20€ night and not at location, garage is a couple of streets away and typical Spanish underground parking, bit of a squeeze for my 3008 SUV

Small but adequate, well-equipped and clean. The sofa is good enough for sleeping. The bed is not too small but is a bit soft for my tаstе. We slept well. The neighborhood is quiet. There are 2 supermarkets on the boulevard and a very good pizzeria for home about 400-500 m. up the same boul. Very useful on a rainy night :) It is about 30 min on foot from the Catedral. Very well connected with buses to downtown. You can buy a Credibus card from the bus driver for 5eu ( min.) + 2 eu for the card =7 eu. In that case, every trip costs 43 cents, while an ordinary bus ticket for the same is 1.40eu. Several people can use the same card. Hope this will be useful for foreigners like me. The host is responsive and helpful, you can rely on him.

You can stop by car in front of the house to leave your luggage but can't park. The parking is a nightmare, but it is the same in all big cities as I saw during my trip. I had enough luck to find a place on a small free parking about 500-600 m. on C. el Dornajo and C. Maitena. There is a building site just in front of the house. Luckily they don't work on Saturday and Sunday. They start after 7 am. and until 8- 8.30, they try to be not so noisy. But it doesn't help much as the window frames in Spain are a disaster in general. The hairdryer & iron were missing. The host gave us his own hairdryer.

The apartment was compact, but contained everything we needed for our trip. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed, which my son slept on. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we were able to wash our clothes and dry them on the spacious patio, which was divided into three levels. Rafa was a spectacular host. He was warm and friendly and met us at the apartment to let us in, and was very helpful. However, he really went above and beyond normal service to help my wife locate her lost phone. We had just taken a taxi back to the apartment, when my wife realized that her phone was missing. Unfortunately, we had paid by cash and didn't have the taxi number or company name. I called Rafa not knowing what he could do, and he quickly sprang into action - he called all of the taxi companies to report the loss. When they didn't get back to him, he and his girlfriend, Sarah, drove all over town with us to track the phone using the 'Find my Phone" app. It took almost an hour, but finally we tracked down the taxi and found the phone between the cushions of the back seat. I can't tell you how much this meant to us, as it was late at night, and my wife was frantic. Rafa and Sarah really saved the day for us. I can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend Rafa's apartment to anyone visiting Granada.
