Stunning 1-Bed Apartment In Heart of Valletta

The location is second to none. Smack bang in the centre of where you want to be. Large, comfortable apartment, was perfect for our needs. We brought our own travel cot and it fitted inside the bedroom, but you could also fit it in the living/dining room too. Fantastic Sicilian restaurant opposite too!

Unfortunately the huge tv required a hdmi connection which obviously we didn’t know we had to bring. Travelling with our toddler we would’ve appreciated having a tv. The cleaner had washed our towels but they were wet when we arrived. I contacted the owner and they very kindly and very promptly dropped some new towels to the apartment. The air con units need cleaning. You can see the layers and layers of dust and grime.

The location was good, and the owner/manager was friendly. However, in the context of the issue we experienced, no compensation was offered, which was disappointing.

We were bitten by bed bugs, and realized something was wrong on the last night of our stay. We noticed small blood stains on the sheets, which are characteristic of bed bugs. We informed Milos, and while he acknowledged the issue, he mentioned that he couldn’t take any action at the moment because there were already new guests in the apartment. This implies that nothing will be addressed until those guests check out, potentially exposing them to the same problem. In total, we experienced around 20-30 bites each across our bodies. Additionally, the shower tray in the bathroom was old, dirty, and moldy, and it is in serious need of replacement.
