Nordik Apartments Village - Torrox "Tønsberg"

The pool was ideal, nice stay The place was very well decorated very simple but also very calming and cozy environment The backyard and little outside area looked really nice well furnished and decorated cozy and comfortable specially when sliding doors were open The neighbourhood was also very safe cats are friendly The shower heads were nice The kitchen was clean and enough for two people The are is located next to the restaurants by the beach which is lively at night The bed was comfortable and the living area and tv had Netflix which is we really enjoyed on our stay glitching wasn’t a major issue The Ac takes a little while to cook the place down but works perfectly Very spacious specially for 2 people Again the pool was the highlight was warm and refreshing clean and lovely We had a bit of trouble checking in but the lady on the phone was super helpful patient and sounded happy to help us we sorted the checking within minutes with her help Over all it was a pretty good experience with a bit of room for improvement !!

Tv constant glitching, toilets smell quite unpleasant, general unpleasant smells coming from drains, signal was a little dodgy, boiler was in the outside glassed area making it incredibly hot, blinking light coming from around the front door that went on all day and night. Dishwasher not always particularly effective. All minor complaints that could’ve improved our lovely stay very slightly

Great location, easy parking, very well kept and peaceful communal gardens and shared areas, pleasant aspect onto landscaped gardens from the outside space, glass doors made attractive terrace usable in rainy weather, pleasant internal design, nice furniture, excellent tv with Netflix. Good security (grilles which drop) on the sliding doors in the lounge and bedroom, if this is an issue. This apartment has all the potential to be outstanding, but a few annoying things let it down and some of them would make me think twice about returning.

Unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom (something not venting properly?) and strange sound of gushing water passing through the bathroom wall intermittently (fr upstairs bathrooms?). I tried closing the bathroom door, but the smell built up in there and was really horrible, so leaving the door open allows the smell to disperse. The shower tray does not drain properly so that it remains wet at the point of entrance. The toilet was very low (common in Spain, but why have this, especially if newly renovated?). The towels were small, thin and crisp. Not the standard expected for the price, when they should be large bath sheet sized, and fluffy! The hob does not heat up sufficiently to properly cook and there were no instructions for use or to try to troubleshoot. It began to heat, then would cut out as though it was faulty. There were no instructions for the oven, and no baking trays to cook with. As others have said, there was insufficient crockery, plates etc. There were no mugs, only tea cups. There was not enough cutlery and what was there was poor quality and often mis-matched. There was no olive oil, vinegar, salt/pepper. The holders in the cupboard were empty. Why was there no 'welcome pack' on arrival of tea, coffee, sugar, milk at the minimum? For the price paid we would expect a welcome pack. But there was nothing! There were notices (5) all over the apartment with unnecessary amount of instructions, and not politely written with a 'please' but rather an order. 'Don't do this, don't do that.' Not consistent with a holiday atmosphere. 'Put clothes on after showering (?!)...dry the bathroom floor... House Rules...newly renovated (not that new anymore surely?) take care of the furniture and facilities (do guests need to be reminded since we will be responsible for any damages?). The number of notices and orders were excessive and did not create a nice atmosphere.

Very good quality apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Very nice surroundings, Close to beach.

Its a nicely decorated and clean appartment, has all necessary amenities.

We got locked out of the appartment (has three access doors, two with general codes and the front door with a personalised one - a very strange and unintuitive system), the second door seemed to be broken and it would not let us in. After texting and calling the emergency number multiple times, we had to wait outside for 30 minutes without any way of getting in and no clue how to get help, until they finally responded with the location of the key to the two first doors. The response of the office was unacceptable as they did not claim responsibility and never once apologized for the inconvenience. There was also a very bad smell in the bathroom, was not pleasant for sleeping/staying.

This property is in excellent location. Few min walk from the beach, Lidl shop within walking distance. Very quiet complex. We enjoyed our stay there.

Shower room has no ventilation, makes it very humid and uncomfortable. Apartment could make improvements by adding more dinning set, there is big dishwasher but very limited set of plates and cutlery, no wine glasses at all. Some other apartments provide with dishwasher tablets (1per day) and spare bin bags , and some washing powder for washing clothes in washing machine. You don’t need full pack of everything, just enough for few use.

The apartment itself is stunning. Lovely furniture lovely terrace great location. Beautifully renovated, in a quiet but practical location.

The towels were very small and thin. There were no tea towels or a kitchen towel. There were no wine glasses,there was 1 teaspoon, there was no top sheet on bed just an empty duvet cover! There was no chopping board, there was no water as promised in welcome letter. The batteries on the remote needed changing. The apartment fixture and fittings are really good but the practical day to day needs do not reach the quality standard of the apartment.
