Its an absolutely beautiful cottage, peaceful and a great location, everything that you need was supplied,loved the weekend there ,was sad to leave it

Well presented and everything you could need.

Very rural so needed a car to get to anything. Not complaining as its lovely but be prepared.

Location away from tourist destinations. Lilly went above and beyond anything we expected from a host. My husband went missing in the car and we later found out he had a flat and had to walk back a mile or so to the cottage. Lilly was ready to help us find him before he returned home. That night she brought some whiskey to help us get over our harrowing day. She provided some great travel trips as well. If you want a peaceful getaway I recommend Mai’s Cottage

Wonderful rural location and a charming and helpful host. Very well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and then some. Lily kindly put some fresh eggs and milk and bread in for us as well! Nice garden area outside the door and gated access. Wood burner was available for use. Had a bath big enough for tall people!

One minor issue with last cleaning that was not a problem at all. To run a bath required contacting the host and getting more water heated. Additionally the central heating is controlled by the host in her cottage. Neither of these were a problem at all, and she was quick to help and get us what we needed... this was merely a slight inconvenience.

Right from the beginning we were welcomed. The cottage was delightful and the provisions that were supplied was a great surprise and very much appreciated. It was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Nothing, it was perfect. Even the weather!

Amazing cottage, two floors, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, oven... just like a second home. The host was lovely and very helpful (we had a medical emergency on our last day, and she booked a doctor for us). Coffee machine with pods provided, and the milk/eggs/butter/bread/jam in the fridge on arrival were an excellent surprise.

All showers in Ireland are a little difficult to operate, and this one was no exception.

Didn't realise the two single bed room was a bunk bed, perfect for kids, amusing for adults :-)

What a charming cottage in a beautiful location! From the moment we pulled it through the gate, I loved it! The old stone cottage has been beautifully updated and decorated. The cottage is clean and cozy and very well equipped with everything we could have needed. Lily left fresh eggs, bread, milk, butter and jam for our arrival. She was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. The cottage is in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful fields. We used Waze to find our way. This is a place you will need to have a car as it’s way off any main roads. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.
