Colourful, bright and chic 2 storey apartment

Location and cleanliness were very good. The kitchen is well equipped. They also allowed us to check out late. A place we would like to stay if we go again. The owner answered all our questions quickly and completely.

The balcony was never cleaned. Wi-fi was not accessible from the rooms downstairs, but we fixed this by taking the modem downstairs.

Communication was very easy and received clear instruction. The apartment comes with a parking space in a secure parking lot which is great! Apartment was pleasant.

The location was great for what I wanted. Located in Moss Side, it took around 15 - 20 minutes to drive into central Manchester for shops / things to do etc. Free street parking at the back. Wifi was okay also. It's located on a crossroads but I thought it was pretty quiet over our stay. ASDA superstore located five minutes drive away.

Unfortunately the boiler leaks which is located over the kitchen counter. I was wiping it up on day one but I was swiftly running out of cloths so I reverted to a pan which was full after a further three nights. The heating gets there but could be better downstairs in the bedrooms but the kitchen sink and bath water temperature only reaches warm even when set to max which for one night and adults you could probably manage with but with children it was abit of a struggle to be honest. I did read a review about the cooker, the extract didn't seem to have any power but I opened the balcony door to help with that. The oven you need to close the door to get it to spark the gas. In the large room the double socket with the lamp overlooking the desk has something seriously wrong. The lamp socket seems fine but the one next to it on the same socket badly keeps shorting out and I unplugged my hairdryer quickly to find the pins where scorching hot so that needs looking at. Also the bed slats on the bed kept falling down during sleep which does give you a fright. When I looked under you can see the slats are balanced on the frame not attached so they seem to slip down. I feel bad to make these comments as Harriet was very nice via communication to access keys etc but having the boiler and bed issues is quite big things that I don't expect to have in an accommodation booking. I didnt want to have to sit in waiting for an engineer or have people coming in to the flat whilst my things were there whilst I was on a family visiting trip so Ive made do. It just needs some TLC and would be great.

Host was super nice and place was very spacious, private parking, just a bit gutted we only had one night there, everything you need and more great apartment and neighbors were nice too, Excellent would love to stay again.
