Casa Eva - Centralissima sul Porto di Rapallo

The property is very nice as it is situate in the centre of Rapallo by the harbour. Nevertheless is above a very busy road and the noise is loud. Good view from the kitchen and the bathroom. The building is nice and old and characteristic but needs some improvement to enhance the comfort of guests and its appearance. The property management was good as they did not charge us for our dog as their was a mistake with the booking and we did not know we had to communicate this, so well done for that.

For a start the big door at the entrance the key does not work. We did not want to ask the property management to replace as they already did the favour of letting the dog stay without charging. I recommend the property management to replace this key or lock depending on what is faulty as it really hindered our experience of entering the place (took us five minutes each time). The building is nice but there are several issues, lack of lift and issue with the stairs structure. The apartment is nice and characteristic of Rapallo but felt a bit damp. Not all windows have been replaced. The beds are extremely uncomfortable except one which is fairly ok. The cot we requested was not in the room but they brought it before dinner on the day of arrival which is good. The kitchen needs work. There are pipes sticking out of the hot water heater that have not been coveredand the units are tired. The balcony that it is shown in the picture is very small and can barely fit 2 people plus it is facing the busy street. The bathroom door frame was damaged, some light fittings were not present (cables hanging). Sockets are old style and some don't fit modern plugs. No AC the fans provided where noisy and did not have the front grate cover so you could hurt yourself if came to close to them. It is a real shame as the place has the potential to be very nice and with a few improvements it could deserve the price it asks. I said this to the property management (being managed by a property management naturally care less than a real host that wants you to have a great experience with their place) and they told me that those are the prices for Rapallo. Not according to my philosophy, if you ask that kind of money your place needs to be in great conditions and comfortable, I do not care if it is Rapallo or Mars. To conclude you should vamp up the entrance.

Mieszkanie jest spore, położone blisko portu i centrum Rapallo. Dawało się w październiku zaparkować za darmo na ulicy przy kamienicy.

Wynajęliśmy mieszkanie dla 8 osób, to 4 pokoje, ale wtedy nie było już żadnego wspólnego miejsca na śniadania i kolacje. Zagospodarowaliśmy sobie przedpokój. Kuchnia jest dobrze urządzona, ale mała. Prosiliśmy o pokój z osobnymi łóżkami (co miało nie być problelem) okazało się że w jednym pokoju została dostawiona składana leżanka. Kanapa w następnym pokoju koszmarnie niewygodna.

Die zentrale Lage war sehr gut, direkt am Hafen und unmittelbar zur Innenstadt und zum Strand. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Die Parkplatzsituation ist wirklich eine Herausforderung, hatte die Vermieterin jedoch vorher gesagt.

Great location, cute apartment

They gave us 1 roll of toilet paper for a group of 8 girls and no soap/shampoo etc (even the small sachets). I feel like these are common requirements in any apartment you book and maybe properties should be more mindful of this cause who wants to go to the supermarket and buy a pack of toilet paper for a 2 day trip?!

The appartment was clean and big, quite well equiped. The owner was flexible with check in and out. The location was also central.

The flat had no AC and the provided fans were not able cool down the place, we could not sleep due to the heat, we had 30°C inside, no air moved. If we opened the windows the appartment was full of mosquitoes and the noise from street was unbearable. We did not rest for one night.

Good location and comfortable
