Honeycomb Treehouse in the Heart of Dorset

Quirky property. Decent location. Easy access - useful photos from hosts on how to find the property. Great hot-tub, peaceful and private.

The property and bedding smelt musty, and pillows really need replacing. Towel rail really ought to be electric so it's independent of the heating system; even in summer damp chilly towels aren't great but no way to have warm towels, or dry swimwear from the hot tub without cranking up the heating. Small tweaks would make a huge difference. Only property I've stayed in at this price point that doesn't have a pint of milk for guests on arrival but they do supply tea and coffee?!. No baking sheet or oven mits for the oven. Screw sticks out on bannister (5th from top) that got hooked on clothes every time I used the stairs. Property is smaller and gloomier than it looks in the photos - stayed on my own and can't imagine how it would work to be there with a second adult. The finish in the property doesn't really match the high-end appliances. It's ok as a crash-pad for a few days, but not somewhere you could retreat to and just relax without going anywhere.

Lovely setting and hot tub great. Perfect if you are young and fit and want a night away, but no good for a holiday. Check in was easy and directions sent in advance.

Very very compact! Absolutely nowhere to put clothes/toiletries. Bedroom is just a small double bed up very narrow stairs. It's not a room...its a bed up in the attic area and you have to climb over the other person to get in and out. Blinds didn't fit properly and were dirty at the bottom. No TV in lounge area. Fridge tiny and again no space to put any food. Heating went off in the night and couldn't get it to work again so were freezing.

Quiet, private, and had everything we needed.

The location of this property is perfect. Not as remote as I was expecting but nonetheless still very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The pin code was sent to me the day before our arrival along with any information that we may find useful or would actually need or appreciate.

I felt the bathroom let the property down as it needed upgrading due to the peeling paint on the walls and ceiling caused by damp. Also the windows upstairs had black around them which is such a shame and wouldn’t take long to rectify as it’s such a delightful quirky property and we would have loved to stay longer.

The treehouse is very secluded and is very very peaceful and romantic, the hot tub completed our stay.

There are a few things that can be worked on, paint work and things but this is general wear and tear and for the price I can not complain at all
