clean and pleasant old cottage

very basic with steep stairs immediately outside bedroom - no table/bedside lamps - had to chase for entry code - water stone cold, thankfully I realised on way to bed (don't usually bother whether water is hot when washing before be, thankfully I did this time) so was able to turn on boiler for morning water

Location as we just needed one night owners allowed early access which was nice

No fresh towels these were dumped on the floor !! Bed was unmade not sure if the property has been cleaned !! Or beds changed ! garden was very overgrown and dumped rubbish outside seating area dirty and unkempt

Self contained, clean and charming with a pub and a shop either side. Couldn’t be better

Thought it may be slightly cheaper on a Monday night. But still enjoyed the lovely old property. It had everything you’d need for a short stay and more.

Cosy, warm and cute, real rustic cottagey vibes, chinese right out side in main road, as well as pub and little shop.

Ot was all good will definitely return

Location was good, there is a pub just a walk away, which we visited before settling into the cottage for the night. The cottage was warm and clean. We only stayed for one night, which was ideal for us. Parking was good, we parked in a free bay, right opposite the walkway to the property. We also liked the fact that it was tucked away and quite.

Parking. It served its purpose as there were no other one bed self catering places to stay to visit my sister in order to attend her husbands funeral. However I would not rush back again in a hurry as it lacked home comforts.

Worst part was the stairs and steps as my wife is disabled and access was steep twisted and narrow and I kept bumping my head. Most of the furniture and facilities were fairly basic.
