Minutes to Woodstock Hiking Ben & Jerry Suite

I liked the room just fine. I wasn't needing anything fancy, just comfortable. It was just that, with a nice bathroom and warm shower.

Be sure you know you are booking the correct Woodstock, I made the mistake of booking this hotel thinking it was Woodstock NY.. They refused to refund me after I realized my mistake. I had to drive 3 hours back and forth because I didn't have the money to book another hotel without the refund. It's a pretty drive however. Still I would have preferred staying in Woodstock NY like I was supposed to.

Location was fairly close to Woodstock, and it was a nice easy drive into town. Parking was good. The staff answered calls.

Check in process was terrible, as the initial code provided did not work. When we finally got into the room, the main light was broken. When I reached into a lamp shade to turn another light on, my hand went thru a spider web getting to the switch. Staff attempted to send someone out to fix it but was unable to find anyone available, which I only learned about when I followed up after waiting for a while. Wifi password was not provided (prebook nor in room), and I had to ask for it. Moreover, wifi signal was weak.

Very well organized. Great use of space. Very clean and provided a cozy atmosphere

The bed was hard as a board. Very uncomfortable

Had microwave & fridge..nice coffee area, supplied coffee & teabags.

No ice machine on premises, was not supplied with enough hand towels, bathroom floor had debris by baseboard heater. Even though we were using correct code for our suite, it took several attempts to get in. Not too much space in bathroom for toiletries. The comforter did not smell fresh, should have been washed prior to our stay.

The room was comfortable and well equipped for our one-week stay

Their policy is not to service the rooms at all during the entire week of our stay-no bathroom or room cleaning. We had to request more towels and toilet paper and were instructed to wash the few dishes, Before leaving. (The inn needs to ascertain for themselves the cleanliness of utensils for the next clients.) Contacting management is unnecessarily difficult. Plus i don’t think I should go through Booking.Com to reach them .Anyway, it was cumbersome. The parking area and outbuildings were a mess, unkempt and uninviting

Cheerful and great bed super comfortable. Very clean. Large bathroom. :)

:( codes did not work and such but the owner was gracious and worked w us to get in. At 2am. So there. Who would do that for you?!

The coffee station in the room was fine, so was the entire kitchen experience. Nice style for the room but not as nice looking as in the pictures. Check in was good. Nice location if that’s what you’re looking for

The wifi was horrible, after reaching out to the owner for help it got better but still was bad. The night was so bad. In 1:30 AM the fire alarm started going without any reason, half an hour later the AC started leaking a lot and didn’t let us sleep again. 2:30 AM fire alarm went off again. Super annoying, worst sleep ever. The shower was not so good, felt old and dirty

Decent location, not too far away from Woodstock. Arrival procedures etc were very clear.

This is not an airbnb but is listed on booking.com which is meant for hotels, I would expect to have the room serviced every day and not have to pick up my trash. If I wanted that I would have gone to an airbnb and not an "inn"? Also, wifi was really really weak.

There was sewage coming up through the drain in the floor of the shower — to be more clear, little bits of excrement, I guess from bad plumbing. We discovered this about 30 minutes after we arrived, and it was then we discovered there was no one actually at the hotel. We phoned and texted, waited for replies, and when we finally heard from a person it was someone good and far away who kept having to hang up, call someone to consult, and then call us back. At one point they said they had another room available, but it was much more expensive and they'd have to charge us its full rate.
