Sweet Homestay Nha Trang - Apartment Sea View

The location was very close to the beach.the internet worked great and there was many restaurants close by as well a couple od minimarts just outside. We had a problem with the lock on the door and the lock was replaced within the hour. So what can I say the service was great.

The bedsheets and towels were clean, at least. The view from one bedroom was really nice. The host refunded us one night with no issue after our complaint.

There is only one small picture of the actual flat on the listing, which in hindsight should have been a big red flag for us. The flat clearly doesn't get cleaned. All of the cupboards were dirty, some smelled of mould and had dirt in. During our stay we encountered cockroaches in the bathrooms, ants everywhere in the kitchen and two geckos in a cupboard. I don't think any of the utensils were properly clean, they are probably never checked. The fridge and freezer are also stained. There is a thick coating of dust on most shelves, which proves cleaning does not take place often, if at all. There was a mysterious stain on the bedroom wardrobe which we tried not to think about. Stains all over the old, worn furniture in the living space. Some of the walls are damaged and coming away, just looks bad once you start looking properly. All in all we felt very uncomfortable in here and only stayed one night as we were tired from our journey. It's such a shame as this could be a nice apartment in a great location but no effort is put into it, and the price is very expensive compared to accommodation in the same city that is nicer. Our worst place we've stayed in Vietnam - just disappointed more than anything else, there are lots of similar reviews and it seems nothing has changed so unfortunately I would recommend that any potential guests stay clear of this property for now.

Generally dirty, kitchenette disgusting, sink unclean, plates put in cupboard unwashed, hot plate does not work. Would not class as Sea view, which can be seen between high raise buildings. Area not suitable for holiday makers. Outer door to washing machine area, the handle and catch are broken thus unable to keep door closed meaning outside air heating apartment. Place requires complete refurbishment. Information for arrival dreadful, unable to locate upon arrival. Poor Would not recommend to anybody.
