Hermitage, 3 Bed entire House in Loughborough

The house was really lovely inside. The area is quiet and walking distance to the university which is what we needed.

Looks a little run down from the outside but lovely inside. Also quite a cold house especially down stairs.

Great house we were going to a wedding on the Sunday & everything went perfectly

All good to be honest wouldn’t fault it

We wanted a property close to Loughborough University for the Open day and it was perfect for this. We had 2 17 year olds who shared, a couple and another single parent. We stayed 2 nights. Only 10 minutes to walk there and the area appeared safe and straightforward to get to the Uni. We commented that it would be perfect if you were visiting a student but wanted a property to stay in for the week together so it was easy for them to get to lectures etc. We had dinner the 1st night at the local harvester restaurant which was convenient and although we didn't cook at the property there was a fully functioning kitchen with everything you needed with tea, coffee an even biscuits provided! The beds and bedrooms were really comfortable and we all slept well. We were very grateful for the fan overnight. Really nice to have a good sized lounge to relax all together in the evening and the teenagers used the PS2. Parking very easy on drive outside.

Not really a "didn't like" but more of a "just to let you know!" As we arrived after dark the house number sign was not really visible from the road so we had to get out and walk up the road to find the house. Not a massive problem to us. The door on double bedroom doesn't keep closed by itself and needs a bag put behind it to keep it closed.

Very clean and tidy, with all the amenities of a home.

The location is excellent; we came to Loughborough University for a conference, and it’s within walking distance to the conference center. The host was also very patient. On the first night, we arrived late and didn’t see the room instructions, so we had many questions. The host kindly explained everything and even came by the next day to show us how to operate things. I was really touched.

The gate to the yard might need some improvements; it’s not the front door of the house and is difficult to close.
