Hartland Lodge - White Cross Bay Holiday Park

Location was excellent. We ate at the restaurant on site, the food was excellent. No reservations required. The chalet was perfect with a hot tub that was checked daily to ensure it was working properly and that the water was hot. Easy parking on site next to the chalet. Easy walk to Lake Windermere,

As it got quite cold at night, we wanted to turn on the heat. There was no direction as to how it worked. I tried a couple of things, but nothing worked.

Beautiful caravan with ample space for us a family. It was cosy and modern, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The location is fantastic, with a short walk to the lake picnic area and short drive to both Windermere and Bowness. It has a very private feel to it, great for making use of the hotub. A lovely size veranda and area for parking. The site itself is great, lovely to walk the dog around.

We tried contacting the property directly with a query several times a few weeks prior to and running up to our stay, and didn’t receive a response which was disappointing. Thankfully when we received our welcome text/message our query was resolved however it would’ve been better for us to have received direct communication .

The lodge was in a great location at the park, very quiet. Very clean and comfortable and everything you need for a short stay. Hot tub was great!! The best lodge we have stayed in by far.

Everything was beautiful in this lodge, also in a beautiful location with only a minute walk to the marina with stunning views. Bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you need and more. Loved the private hot tub on our deck too

I was surprised there was no towels in lodge ~ I may have missed this small detail so if booking the only thing you need to bring is your own towels.
