The property was dirty - specifically the sitting area outside was a mess.

GBThe house was warm, comfortable and generally well decorated. The location is good, only a few minutes from Loch Long and a short walk to the village where there are a selection of places to eat. The agent responded promptly to messages.
The dining chairs were not those in the photos and were badly stained. The vertical blinds were in need of repair. The kitchen units were tired and doors not in very good condition. We couldn't use the decking area as it had not been cleared of fallen leaves.

The midges but I think this was because of the time of year, otherwise we had no complaints.

CACouldn't have asked for a better location. Instructions were precise and simple. House was charming and our family had such an amazing time together. The short walk to the various restaurants/shops was incredibly picturesque and made every journey enjoyable. We LOVED this house!
GBGood location with a few restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Short drive to a number of attractions, Gruffalo trail, Loch Lomond cruise, Luss etc.
The garden, was not fully enclosed and it had a slope down to a river at one end. Reluctant to let the children play in the garden unless closely supervised.
