Nice House San Biagio - Luxury Full Apartment

a nice appartment on the edge of the historic area - walking distance from the city centre, a nice bathroom, a separate kitchen with an ok table, a party of 5 could sleep in three separate rooms, a great base to explore Lecce - a really enjoyable place

all was fine, though if someone does not like very steep and narrow steps with no lift - this is not a place for them, there was also a bit of confusion about parking but this was easy to solve

Loved loved loved the apartment! Beautifully presented and clean. Antonio also had all the small essentials needed in the kitchen like salt, pepper, sauce, cooking oil etc which was really appreciated. The apartment has a very homey feel. Great location to the train station and the entrance to the Old Town. I fell in love with Lecce❤️ Antonio was also a fantastic host and very helpful. Grazie 😊

The only negative thing for me was the beds are very firm and I sleep on a very soft bed. So if you love a firm bed then you'll love it.

Very clean and quiet apartment.

There is no privacy for sleeping areas. The bathroom is near the kitchen.

The unit is large and spacious, as we expected from the listing and it's photos, and overall was quite clean. Internet overall was good connectivity for phones and tablets. The ability to stream, via the television's NetFlix app would not work, rendering the ability to stream a movie at night only possible on your mobile devices. But the internet worked consistently, which is always a good thing. Checking in and accessing the unit by remote, via a web/mobile app, was handy. Response time on queries to the listing person was timely and helpful. Overall would we be a repeat customer and stay here again? Possibly. However we can't imagine doing so in high season with a rental car. The parking was a bit of an issue in off season so we estimate that may be problematic. Please note, we stay in apartment type units at least 100 days a year. So we have certain things we look for and other thing that rub us wrong. This was closer to a really good property when compared to our other apartment stays.

The ability to get the temperature set correctly on the shower was a chore. With what appeared to be an older hot water on demand system, it continously fluctuated from extreme hot to ice cold within a few seconds and back again. The master bed and room was on a squeaking stairway above the rest of the apartment. This bed was fairly comfortable but was also the most cumbersome to go up and down the stairs during the night for a bathroom break or rising before the other person in the morning, without causing noise going up and down the stairs. The additional twin and sofa sleeper were not as comfortable. The sofa sleeper is the standard IKEA grey one everyone has experienced in virturally every apartment rental listing. So some people find this manageable for sleeping, we find it just ok. The unit is on the 1st floor (one floor above ground) requiring a lengthly straight shot up a narrow stairway from the street. You had to avoid the rubbing or touching the walls, on each side of this narrow stairway, or your clothes or luggage/bags would have white chalking dust all over them. Due to the proxmity of the unit to the street, during the early morning hours and throughout daytime, the traffic, garbarge collection, and municipal trucks are extemely loud. This is no fault of the provider but should be noted for those who try to sleep in or are light sleepers. Parking was only available on the street with open free parking on certain streets. The unit owner provided a screenshot of safe places to park. This was appreciated. Finding a parking spot, even in off season, was at times problematic and time consuming.
