"Loved it, will be back"

9.0

Really enjoyed my stay here. The accommodation is traditional but stylish and modern. Quiet location, comfy bed, lots of space. Got a warm welcome from Jo, Hope the dog and I loved the chickens clucking round the door. Lovely surprise of food basics left for me and those eggs didn’t come from the supermarket 😉

There is no microwave - that would be a great addition imo

"A Peaceful and Comfortable retreat in the Vale of Belvoir!"

9.0

We loved the peacefulness of the location and the greenery surrounding the annex. The hosts are very thoughtful and ensure you have milk, butter, fresh bread, jam, tea and coffee and free range eggs for your breakfast! Everywhere is clean and comfortable so you can relax straight away. It was also pleasantly warm both night and day due to large french windows (south-facing) off the lounge/dining area, and a big velux ceiling light in the bedroom. The accommodation is full of light and we liked that. The shower enclosure in the bathroom is modern, spacious and has an excellent shower.

Small thing, but a little shelf beneath the mirror in the bathroom would allow guests to place tooth brushes, and other toiletries down safely, rather than balancing them on the edge of the tiny sink or on the boxed in pipes at skirting level.

"Weekend break."

8.0

The property was immaculate & communication with the host first class. The welcome pack, which included fresh eggs from the free range chickens, was much appreciated.

We found the stairs to the bedroom very narrow & they would certainly benefit from a hand rail fitted.for less mobile guests. A full length mirror in the bedroom would be very useful also. As a coeliac I would have found a microwave useful for meals I had prepared at home to be reheated quickly. These points are by no means complaints as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but merely personal suggestions to make the annexe even more appealing to future guests.

V comfy bed Lovely location Lovely hosts

A stair handrail would have helped The bedroom could do with more furniture such as a dressing table for doing hair etc Dining chairs with cushions rather than folding chairs would be great

Lovely double floor annexe, set out really nicely. Thank you so much to the host for being so flexible with check in when I messaged. The bed was comfy and the shower was good too. Lovely views.

Minor comment, but could have done with some shower gel in the shower, and a washing up brush and tea towel to wash up the breakfast dishes.

Very pretty little annexe, close by to family. Lovely food parcel left by host, thank you.

We are in our seventies and struggled with the staircase as there is no handrail.

Parking next to property. Space inside the property and real hangers in the wardrobe - excellent. Jo also left us milk, eggs, jam, butter and bread - perfect.
