Apartamento nuevo y de lujo en puerta del sol

Excellent location, it's really a few steps to the sights, a short walk from the metro station, and 600m to the Mercadona store. We were allowed to check-in at 2pm instead of 4pm. Access via electronic key is very convenient. The apartment is on a quieter street, there is really less noise than on other streets in Madrid. The photos show the apartment as new, but the current condition is a bit used and tired. Unfortunately, we were unlucky and there were some people living next to us in the apartment who smoked marijuana and were making a fuss 2 nights out of 3, until the police had to come and calm them down. That was really very unpleasant. What surprised us was that there were no sheets prepared for the 3rd person. I had to put on my own sheets. Unfortunately, there were no sheets for the duvet, so I had to sleep under the mattress cover. Unfortunately, it is absolutely impossible to sleep on the couch in the living room. The mattress is twisted, sagging and really extremely uncomfortable. If there are more than 2 of you, I think it is better to find another place. The bed and mattress in the bedroom were okay, just very soft. I give a lower rating mainly because of the sofa mattress. The apartment has a very nice bathroom, I appreciate that. In terms of hygiene, cleaning and cleanliness, everything was okay. There are also very nice blackout blinds. There was tea, coffee, soap, toilet paper, towels available. The accommodation communicated in a timely manner. The deposit of 150 EUR was returned 2 days after departure.

The location was good.

They cahrge a deposit of 150 euro and you have to wait a month to get it back. They didn't want to return it all because they claimed I didn't use the taxi they ordered. Too many messages and difficult to get the keys

Best location possible! Steps to all of the energy of Puerta del Sol yet on a secluded little pedestrian-only alley with gates that literally lock at night to non-residents. The place is just like the photos - stylish, comfortable, spacious - with windows that open to the pedestrian walkway. Loved that the host met me upon arrival to show me how to enter and quick tour of the property. 100% recommend it.
