Very clean and oh so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Those duvets were so soft.

Abbey Green was extremely homey & welcoming. The perfect location to spend quality time with family. Its charm was complimented with modern technology associated with heating & entertainment. Was able to relax. Even bake some scones & prepare dinner comfortably. Laundry facilities were also really helpful.

"A lovely few days in a beautiful cottage with a peaceful location!"

The property was very comfy, cozy and inviting. It was well maintained and had everything we needed. The village was beautiful and although you were close to the road. There was no noise or disturbance. It was the perfect location for us visiting family who live in Dumfries Town Centre. We had easily access to the coast and family in Lockerbie.

We were a little disappointed the pub didn't serve food and the person I spoke too wasn't particularly friendly. However, that wasn't a big issue as Dumfries town centre has places to eat and is only a short drive away.

A beautiful little cottage in the heart of the village, with everything you could need to make your stay very comfortable. We were moving into our new house in a local village and the cottage was a very welcome place to come home to after a few very stressful days.

"Comfy cottage."

Lovely location, spotlessly clean and all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay (including the biggest frying pan I've ever seen!). Nice and warm and cosy for a winter stay. Would be great as a base for walks and exploring the area in the summer.

Nothing to dislike.
