"For a short stay it's cool"

The location and host were great. Interior decor was cute. Easy to find location just off of highway and Westheimer

Other tenants stomping and arguing throughout the night above my unit. Damaged walls in the unit I rented as if a fight happened, several holes in the walls, a water leak from the upstairs unit into the bathroom of the unit I rented. The air conditioner leaked and had water all over the bedroom floor, so I decided not to use that ac unit at all. Apart from that, no maintenance worker ever came to check on the leak despite me informing the host of the issue. The unit didn't have closets so unpacking my bags didn't happen

I stayed in #2 before, and didn't have the same issue as I describe below

There was a strong smell of smoke in the place. My daughter is allergic and was very affected by that. Also, there was no sponge to wash dishes, and the dishes that were clean in the dishwasher were not put away. The towels could be better, they are small and rough. There were no labels in shower for body wash/shampoo/conditioner so no way to know which was which.

First of all this was not the apt we stayed. The property management changed to a different apartment at the last minute due to some AC problem. The information on the new location was so late we could not make any changes and ended up going there. The new property was really bad. - Location, apartment (need a code for AC, which we had to call the property manager). We felt like the property manager pulled a fast one by showing one and then swapping to an inferior apartment in a bad location.

"Disappointing experience and I do not recommend."

I had a disappointing stay at this property, as it was far from the standard I was expecting. Upon arrival, there was an intense mildew smell that lingered throughout the space, particularly on the sofa and queen-sized beds, which were covered in animal fur and hair. The cleanliness was another major issue—there were stains on the walls, floors, and doors, and the floors themselves felt sticky, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time. I also noticed leftover food particles and dirt scattered across the floor. The bathroom was no better, with soap stains covering the walls and shower head, and leftover soap left behind. There was also hair inside and outside of the bathroom that was stuck on the wall and on the bathroom sink. Additionally, certain outlets didn’t work, and there were multiple holes throughout the unit. A wire was hanging from the ceiling by the front door, adding to the feeling that maintenance was lacking. I paid an additional fee to check in early which was supposed to go toward the cleaning. However, when I arrived I could tell the place wasn’t cleaned at all. I spoke with the owner who did not apologize but told me they would send the cleaners to rectify the issue which unfortunately wasn’t resolved. One of the most inconvenient aspects was the heating system; you have to specifically ask the owner to turn the heat on, and even then, you’re required to give a preferred temperature—otherwise, you’ll be left freezing. The overall cleanliness was subpar, with dust everywhere and a Keurig cup still inside the machine from the previous guests. With all of these issues, I can’t recommend this place until serious improvements are made and I unfortunately had to book another place for my stay.
