Two bedroom flat in Bridge of Allan, Stirling

The apartment was very good at this price point. The lounge/dining area was larger than expected and suited the two of us with my daughter occasionally visiting as well. Was able to cook reasonable meals with the utilities provided though the oven top has its own ideas of hot which are slightly lower than mine. The shower was hot and powerful, a welcome luxury.

The bathroom was adequate in size, the carpet is discoloured in places. Not a show stopper or inconvenience but it does detract a little. The vacuum cleaner provided is poor and doesn't really clean the carpet. Not a dislike but it should be understood that this property is not luxurious but it is excellent for it's price point.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Bridge of Allen, 5 minutes drive to Stirling university & Stirling only a few minutes more. The apartment is in a quiet area, with parking. Apartment very clean , with comfortable beds.

The only thing we missed was a full length mirror in the bedroom.

They were in the key safe ready when we arrived, however a few hours later another guest arrived saying they were booked into the flat,Martin came and sorted this out as we had confirmation we had booked and paid

The description of the property said it had a dishwasher but after much hunting for it it was confirmed there was no dishwasher? Also windows did not open very well and when they did we could not shut them

Easy to access, very clean & modern. Spacious for the 3 of us. Liked the fact that all self-catering consumables were there so we didn't need the washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel and toilet rolls we took with us. Also had a small supply of tea, coffee & sugar plus toiletries to tide you over til you found a shop. Beds were comfy, more pillows available if needed. Light and airy being on open to 3 aspects. We would definitely recommend.

Parking spot was narrow but manageable for a car. May struggle if you have a larger SUV, for example.
