Apartment Venus of the Palace - NEW RENOVATED

It was beautiful inside with old stone walls and archways

There was no door to the bathroom so no privacy at all.

Host communication was excellent. Easy check-in, clear and easy to follow directions (with photos) and supplies provided eg milk, fruit juice, bottled water plus much more. Apartment was very clean and fully equipped. No passers-by foot traffic.

There is a restaurant is on the corner (about 20 metres away and kitchen opens on to apartment laneway) and the noise was excruciatingly loud. Thunderously loud music on Saturday night until 1.30 am. Other nights noise (no music) went on until 12.00 or 12.30 am. Then loud noises about 6.30 am each morning.

This was well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We were given an excellent dinner recommendation. We were in the middle of the palace put in a surprisingly quiet corner.

The location is amazing and the amenities are spot on. The host was always quick to respond and even brought us a drying rack when we asked. He said he plans to remodel and update soon, so I can't wait to visit again.

The noise from the restaurant and the workers smoking nearby was a bit annoying, but not overwhelmingly so.

Fabulous location moments from the sights, promenade, harbour and transport. Great kitchen. Helpful, attentive host.

A bit tricky to locate at first but the maze of alleys is also part of the attraction. A little bit of noise from next door but ok.

The house is at the heart of the Palace. Perfect location Clean room and quite.

The owner ask the money for cleaning but it's included at the price that we all ready paid via booking.com .He ask them not in a polite way .Hope he understand the mistake .Except that he was kind and helpful.
