Anandam Woods - A Heritage single Room for couple-small family

Had an awesome stay at the cute and comfy tree-house (Anandam Woods) amidst nature at Vaikom. The tree house is at the back of the owner's home in the same campus. Had a wonderful time with the host- Ramchandra Panicker sir (owner's father). The authentic homemade Kerala cuisine was to die for! The wonderful and lively chats that we had Panicker uncle alongwith the delicious meals will forever remain with us as lovely memories. The hospitality, the food and the place - everything was amazing!! Will definitely plan to visit again. Thanks to Mr. Binu Anand, the owner of the homestay, who though was not physically present at the property co-ordinated with us over calls and messages and ensured a smooth stay for us. Will definitely recommend the place if you are planning a visit to the Vaikom Mahadeva temple or even if you are just planning a Kerala holiday.

During my recent visit, I was treated to a quintessential Kerala breakfast and a stay at a charming location in Vaikom. The breakfast was a delightful journey through Kerala's culinary heritage. From the soft and fluffy Appam served with a delectable vegetable stew, was a particular highlight. The flavorful Puttu paired with a spicy curry, each dish was a testament to the region's culinary expertise. The attention to detail in the preparation of each dish was evident, and I savored every bite. "Steeped in history and adorned with antique design, Anand Wood stay is a breath taking retreat that seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern luxury. The property exuded a sense of peace and tranquility, with well-appointed rooms and attentive staff. The highlight of my stay was the breath taking view of the backwaters, which I enjoyed from the comfort of my room. The serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Overall, my experience of a typical Kerala breakfast and stay in Vaikom was nothing short of exceptional. From the delicious flavors of the breakfast to the serene ambiance of the stay location, every aspect of my visit left a lasting impression. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Kerala to indulge in a traditional breakfast and experience the tranquility of Vaikom.

I liked everything around there. I was so overwhelmed!

The room was very nice and comfortable.

On the first night there was very loud party until after 2am from guests in the next room. No intervention from the owner. The following night the same thing happened in the nearby neighborhood.
