View With A Room NZ - Boutique Beachfront Accommodation on the Great Coast Road

Beautiful location and view!

View is amazing as in the picture, not only from the veranda but also from the room itself so even bad weather is no problem. High quality interior design and furnitures - very nice space!

Uiteraard viel bij de plek direct ‘the view’ op. Prachtig plek met uitzicht om de zee en golven die op de rotsen slaan. De prachtige zonsondergang was een bonus.

Niets.

This place is so special. The view is spectacular, the room is cosy, the bed is excellent, the host very nice, dinner delicious. The possibility to have dinner at the deck or in the room made it even more special. It is a 20 minute drive to the Pancake rocks and the beach in front of the room is also very nice to have a walk. We watched a wonderful sunset and that made our stay complete!

Perfection. We had high expectations based on the photos and description and it did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning views. Very comfortable room with everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. Shirley and Marius were kind and thoughtful hosts. Can’t recommend enough.

The sandflies were annoying; however, the hosts had provided insect deterrent which meant we could sit outside to enjoy the view unbothered.

We loved the location and the view. It was warm and cosy and the bed was very comfy. Everything we needed was available.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Die Lage, ein Traum! Das Angebot der Gastgeberin für uns zu kochen, da das nächste Restaurant (vor allem zu unserer Reisezeit im nz Winter) mindestens eine 1/2 Autostunde entfernt gewesen wäre: einfach großartig! Sogar der Wunsch nach einem vegetarischen Hauptgericht war möglich, das Essen echt gut und preislich wirklich ok! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das einzige, was schade war: Im Winter geht die Sonne früher unter, also war der, atemberaubende, Ausblick auf das Meer nicht so lange möglich. Aber dafür kann niemand etwas außer uns, die wir zu der Zeit gereist sind.
