Strategic location near historic center. Everything you need is steps from apartment: bakery next door, bars and cafes just around the corner, 4 minute walk to Despar grocery store, 10 minutes up to Old Agropoli, 15 minutes to train station. We did not rent a car but there is free parking along Viale Europa. This corner apartment is spacious with high ceilings, lots of natural light but also equipped with exterior darkening shades so you can sleep in. Good insulation from outdoor noise and stays cool all day. New and efficient a/c in each bedroom and living room, cooling entire apartment in a few minutes. Both bathrooms have been renovated. It is a luxury to have a second bathroom, which is rare, especially in historic centers. Good WiFi. Lots of nice touches like modern lighting, updated kitchen, hardwood flooring, abundant closet space, washing machine, building elevator. There is a hairdryer in the unit. From the moment I made the reservation, Barbara was warm, caring and responsive. She always made sure I had everything I needed and was quick to resolve any issues. Barbara is also well connected with many business owners in the surrounding areas; it was reassuring to have trusted recommendations for services and activities. Agropoli is a great base to explore up and down the Cilento coast. Very accessible by train - 5 minutes to Paestum, 1 hour to Sapri. Bus stops are near the apartment to visit smaller towns. Infante bus tickets can be purchased online or on the bus. Agropoli restaurants are plentiful and less touristy, thus reflective of lower prices but without compromising quality. We did not hear any other dialect besides Italian all week (which we loved). We were received with warm hospitality from locals. It is becoming increasingly rare to experience such authenticity these days I’m happy to report that it still exists here in Agropoli.

You will need to bring/buy your own coffee, salt/sugar, oils, and laundry detergent. There is a starter supply of paper towel, and ample supply of toilet paper and bath towels. This short list of inconveniences are minor compared to the many benefits offered.

Perfect location with easy access to the old town, docks, bars and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything one may need even for a longer stay. Most of all, our host was absolutely amazing - very attentive and responsive. She provided support with parking, too.

The location was very central. The town was full of lovely people and the food was delicious and cheap. The town has lots of nice shops and beautiful beeches.

In my opinion, nothing could have been better! Every thing was excellent.

Basic apartment with large bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Close to city center. Host has arranged for free parking, we were lucky to find a free spot.

We had no hot water for the full 3 days of our stay. The owner did not manage to resolve the issue due to Christmas holidays. This was disappointing.

The apartment is in a great location in a really pretty holiday town. All the comforts of home and a really helpful host.

The location was fantastic as it was very central and in the middle of the main piazza of the Agropoli town. It was noisy but that is to be expected in such a location and in full swing of the summer season. The apartment was tastefully decorated and the aircon was very efficient. The owner was responsive through telephone although she was abroad.

The kitchen perhaps could be better equipped with more cooking utensils and pots and pans. The hot water ran out on the first night but this was rectified rather quickly. Some cleaning products such as dishwasher soap and washing machine powder would be helpful as we could not bring everything coming so far away from Australia. The showers did not always drain well and the TV was quite outdated. I would also highly recommend a hair dryer for guests to use - it does not need to be an expensive one either.
