The location is excellent, near a quiet plaza (Jerónimo) with a wonderful bar/restaurant (La Cavea). Know that you will likely need to make a short walk from where a taxi can drop you as the streets are so narrow and the flat is on the top level-no elevator. Easy, quick walk to all the tourist sites in the old town through all the narrow streets. Easy 10 minute walk to Aldi/groceries. There was sufficient room for the 5 of us, kitchen, living room and dining room and small outdoor patio. The price was very reasonable for the space and convenience.

The apartment needs some maintenance and love -- missing sections of kitchen flooring (small areas that you easily stepped into), one of the toilet's water runs constantly unless you turn off the water, curtain rods in one of the bedrooms falling down, a very slippery jute mat in the kitchen. It was also missing some basics like hand soap in the bathrooms, bath mats and kitchen towels to dry dishes.
