Entire 2 Bedroom Cottage in Whitby

The location couldn't have been much better. Just a few yards from the harbour front and shops. It made a nice change to just park the car when we got there and not drive again until it was time to leave. Really enjoyed going out to bars/restaurants and not worrying about driving or waiting for taxis.

Not much I didn't like really. I can understand some people complaining about the staircase and the top step to the attic bedroom being rather high and the limited access to the bed itself, but this is an old terraced cottage and it is what it is. Just research what your booking and don't book if you have limited mobility. I'm 68 and didn't have a problem with it and rather enjoyed sleeping in the attic but maybe that's just the child in me!

The location was great. The property not so great.

Where do I start… things were broke, it was damp, we could smell sewerage from the en-suite bathroom. Awful smell from one of the sofas… I could go on. Needs some serious TLC.

on arrival the door mat was filthy due the wet weather and water coming down the ginnel, would be better if removed, 3 large waste bins straight outside the door, no windows opened and generally needs some TLC,

Cottage in good location as on the flat. Near rail and bus station and all the facilities one would expect in a seaside town.

Being down an alley with industrial bins outside was not ideal, but didn't affect us at all

Blocked toilets. Everywhere smelt of dogs. Freezer left open to defrost water everywhere. Generally dirty. Very old and dated. In desperate need of full overall.

There were only 1 toilet tissue roll left between 3 people staying had to go buy a pack🙁also the shower slideing door came off its rail several times during our stay needs urgent attention or someone could get hurt 😞 this cottage could do with money Spending on it it’s not very welcoming at all 🙁
