Villas Arbia - Margita Beach hotel

Samo položaj vile je odličan. Grad Rab je blizu. Nije bilo previše buke. Uveče se čula muzika/ al nije strašno. Odličan doručak u hotelu pored.

Sveukupno održavanje plaže i obale. Premale kante za smeće, uvek pune.

Just the location.

We booked Hotel Margita because it was advertised as a 4-star property and priced accordingly. In reality, it was a major disappointment — our room was tiny, outdated, and lacked even basic amenities you’d expect at a beach destination, like a place to hang wet towels. There was no terrace or balcony — not even in the common areas. The kitchen described in the listing was barely functional: no proper dining space, the smallest fridge and dishwasher I’ve ever seen. The TV in the room looked at least 20 years old. The bathroom was tiny — barely 3 square meters — and there was hardly any space to move around the room at all. To make matters worse, the entire room had a musty, unpleasant smell, typical of places that haven’t been renovated in decades. Props to the photographer — they did a fantastic job making Hotel Margita look appealing online. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t even come close. My brother stayed at Hotel Magdalena, a 3-star property run by the same company, and paid significantly less for a modern, much larger suite with two balconies, a real kitchen, and separate bedrooms. The difference in quality was shocking — and absolutely not reflected in the star rating or pricing. When we raised the issue, the staff acknowledged the disparity but blamed it on the fact that we booked through Booking.com rather than directly (which is not an acceptable excuse for such a quality gap). We asked for a solution — either a transfer to another room, a discount, or a refund. After several messages, they agreed to let us leave the property after the first night (which we fully paid for, along with the extremely overpriced parking — €17), and refunded the unused nights. I’m glad we booked via Booking.com, as we can now warn other travelers not to make the same mistake. Hotel Margita may have been 4 stars 20 years ago, but today it simply doesn’t meet the standard — especially compared to their own 3-star properties.

Fantastic location

Its pretending bit more posh than in fact is. Kitchen is small, quite used. Will be best when its renovated. Aircondition on Max - quite noise, and so so cooling room on temperature that is almost good. I was surprisee that was unable to make room cooler.

The location and view were unbeatable! We had the villa with the gigantic round terrace. There was incredibly easy access to a soft sandy beach (very shallow and calm water) and restaurants. The manager, Lorena was really friendly, kind, and helpful.

We were a party of 6 and had 3 rooms including a suite with a terrace. The rooms were quite small so it wouldn’t have worked for us as well as it did if we hadn’t had the suite. The terrace allowed all of us to sit together and enjoy the sun and the view for breakfast and pre dinner drinks.

Lack of a pool. There is a hotel next door though that allows. On residents to use their pool for €7 each.
