Irida - Santorini

Incredible view of the caldera and excellent people!

We had wonderful few days in Irida. The caldera view was breathtaking. The room is comfortable, quiet and elegantly decorated. The hosts were very friendly and kind. We highly recommend this special place and would love to return soon!

My wife and I had the most unforgettable stay in Santorini for our honeymoon, thanks to the amazing hospitality at this small, family-owned business that has been operating for over thirty years. From the moment we arrived, Dimitris was there to greet us late at night, guiding us through the village, helping us find parking, and even assisting with our bags. Katerina welcomed us warmly and, knowing it was our first time in Greece, gave us a fantastic rundown on the island’s geography, must-see spots, and local dishes to try. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and customizable breakfast, brought right to our room. It was the perfect start to our days of exploring. The room was always thoroughly clean, and we were even welcomed with some homemade wine, which was a lovely touch. The suite itself was spacious and well-furnished, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from our balcony was simply breathtaking, and we truly appreciated the privacy and tranquility. The location was ideal—situated between Oia and Fira but tucked away in a quieter, more secluded village. The AC was a blessing during the daytime after walking around in the heat. On top of everything, their kindness extended beyond our stay. A bottle of my wife’s perfume was left behind, and they went out of their way to ship it back to us, covering the postage themselves. It’s these thoughtful and honorable gestures that make this place truly special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing Santorini experience at a great value.

The bathroom is quite small, but it didn’t detract from our overall experience. Also, my wife was able to use the kitchenette sink to get ready and the table as her make up desk.

Irida is perfectly positioned for stunning views of the Caldera. It is a small quiet hotel which is a perfect oasis form the bustling streets. We were made very welcome, the staff were attentive and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! The scenery, the hosts, the quiet. All beautiful! We stayed in a room with 2 balconies, one that faced the water and another that spanned a view towards Fira and the water as well. They looked over a picturesque church and down to Skaros Rock. There was wine in the room when we arrived. A delicious breakfast was brought to our room each morning to enjoy on the balcony. Katerina and Dimitris were so kind and welcoming. And Imerovigli was stunning and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view, quiet but close walk to everything

Everything! We had a very warm welcome from our hosts Katerina and Dimitris. The loft room was well laid out with a breathtaking view of the caldera. The breakfast served to our room each morning was amazing. Plus our hosts provided comprehensive information about various activities that we could do on Santorini in a compact folder. Highly recommend this property for those who visit Santorini.
