Irida - Santorini

Most spectacular view! Marvellous room

The location was unparalleled. We got to eat breakfast looking out over the caldera every morning. The magnificent views are the main reason for going to Santorini and this hotel/room allowed us to have them every moment of every day. The town itself, Imerovigli, was a little hard to travel to/from by bus and Ubers are non-existent, so for anything beyond some easy bus routes, we got transfer service that the hotel arranged. We also were able to get restaurant recommendations from the owners/operators, which ended up being our very best meals. Most of all, it is a comfortable and quiet stay. It's peaceful and lovely and we would stay here again.

There were no buses (or infrequent) traveling north (to Oia) from Imerovigli, but we worked around it. We could go south to Fira in order to travel north if we needed. The transportation overall on the island is not great, so it is not a problem of the hotel but of the island.

The hosts were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to cater for us and ensure we were the most relaxed we could possibly be during our stay.. Add on ridiculous views of the caldera, gluten free breakfast and homemade wine and it was the easiest 10/10 rating I've ever had to give!

We loved staying at Irida so much! The view from the balcony was incredible! Breakfast on the balcony was such a highlight. Dimitris and Katerina were wonderful! Everything was amazing, we didn’t want to leave!
