Dua Dari, a Residence by Hadiprana

The most luxurious place with exquisite design. It feels like you’re part of nature . The service is amazing and breakfast was always served to our requests and tasted great. Staff were very accommodating and ready to help as we had a 3 yr old who loved to socialise.

It gets quite dark at night and is difficult to get a cab from the property due to the location. It is still very close to Ubud centre and next to Maya resort. Be careful of the frogs that might pay you a visit as one almost jumped at me when I used the bathroom early in the morning .

Looking for an exceptional experience in Ubud,, look no further. Dua Dari is a hidden gem, only 4 rooms on the premise, a lot of privacy and outstanding service from the full team. As it is/was a private residence it is not a full fledged hotel with all the amenities and people (who needs that??) but offers the most exceptional garden, interior and exterior design. Dua Dari was the private residence of Architect/Designer Hadiprana, who also owns the Tanah Gajah Resort (free shuttle to the resort if you wish so). Also complimentory shuttle to Ubud, which is quite convenient. We stayed as a famliy of 6 in the main house for four nights, had some exceptional massages und really enjoyed also the afternoon tea. I have the feeling this gem will in its current setting not exist for very much longer. So take the chance as long as it still has this magical touch. Thank you to Supri and the whole team for taking so much good care of us!

The location was something else. The grounds are beautiful and it is a very special place. We even have monkey visitors one day.
