Entre Vallee

I highly recommend Entre Vallee, where I stayed for 23-days. Cristiano and Kareshma are exceptional hosts, attentive to their visitors’ needs, interests, and well-being (and, both are trained nurses). Every breakfast served on the upstairs terrace with amazing views was delicious, never the same! The two rooms that I was in were spacious, with private shower/toilet. Each had CableTV, fridge, fan, A/C, hot water pot, and outside small patio with table/chairs. WiFi available throughout. Cristiano was very helpful with understanding Rodrigues, and with suggestions on places to visit, eat and shop. Kareshma is a superb cook, and dinners can be ordered in advance. Extra services such as A/C, airport and other means of transport are available, but understand the conditions. Riviere Coco has its own bus lines (one to Mourouk-Mt. Lubin-Port Mathurin, one to the West). There are several small convenience stores, restaurants, a post office, and a police station in short walking distance. Enjoy your stay!

Very kind and thoughtful owners who were always there to help in case there is anything we needed. We felt very welcome in their home. Lovely freshly prepared breakfast every morning - we never ate the same thing twice and got to taste some nice dishes. Riviere Coco is a very peaceful location - we enjoyed our stay a lot and would come again if we are ever in Rodrigues in the future!

Host listed apartment in Mauritius but apartment is not in Mauritius is in another country 500km away need to get the plan to be there ,he don’t say anything until one day before and after I cancel and he talke me 50% cancellation fee for nothing ,I think the guy don’t have much visitors because there is another location and he want money earn,so he trick people to get free money

Les hôtes étaient très chaleureux, bienveillants. Le petit déjeuner (changeant tous les jours, sucré-salé, je me suis TOUS LES JOURS régalée) sur la terrasse en hauteur permettait de commencer la journée avec une super vue montagne. Scooter à disposition sur place, ma chambre était indépendante, avec petite terrasse très agréable, équipée de ce qu’il fallait (frigo, micro-onde, grande douche)

Il manque peut être une petite lampe de chevet près du lit.

No comment all was perfect

The hosts were very friendly and very helpful. I appreciated the ride to and from the airport which was included in my booking. I had booked this reservation under another name so I am not sure why the change in name. TV had some English channels. I did have to pay extra to have air conditioning which I wasn’t expecting. It was very hot and very noisy at night. I could not have survived without air conditioning. As a solo female traveller I would not have slept with any doors or windows open. Between stray dogs barking, roosters and hens making noise all night and hearing a lot of people I did not sleep well at all. I couldn’t imagine anyone not needing air and even though I was only charged 5 Euro for one night I think it should be included. The host was very kind and made coffee and an egg. I had not requested breakfast or any meals and I had been asked a few times before I arrived. I always said no as I have food allergies. No hair dryer in the room.

For me the location, noise at night, so glad only there one night. Not much to do in the area at all and I didn’t have a car. I didn’t feel I should walk alone so basically didn’t venture out much at all.
