The location of the hotel is brilliant - on / close to the route of the airport shuttle and 20/30 minutes walk from the train station to help arrival and departure. Whilst in Carcassonne - you’re 5 minutes walk from the Cite and the lovely little area Cite side of Pont Vieux. It’s 5/10 minutes further to Place Carnot and surrounding streets, so location fully merits 10/10. The reception staff were wonderful and the lovely little bar and pool area was an added bonus - we used both! Our room was on the 3rd floor with a window looking onto a busy road. The soundproofing was great and window shutters provided a good black out to ensure a very good nights sleep - aided by a large and comfy bed, two pillows each, and good and effective A/C. The room was adequate in size - it didn’t ever feel cramped - and the bathroom was very nice with a great powerful shower!

This is a lovely, quirky hotel in a fantastic location for the walled city! I had breakfast each morning, which was simple and very delicious and lovely overlooking the small pool area. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Literally 5 minutes from the main entrance to the medieval city. There were 6 of us, 2 parents, 4 kids so we had the 3 bedroom suite, all joining interconnecting rooms which was brilliant. The airport shuttle bus leaves from outside the medieval city also which is really handy. Great staff, lovely modern hotel. Maps and information provided. Little thoughtful touches, small bottles of amazing body lotion, cans of water, loads of storage, plugs etc. little packs of face cleansing pads and earbud cleaners. Cute little pool and lovely bar but didn’t have time to use it. Our room overlooked the pool, it was a few metres from our hotel room door. Good quality bedsheets and comfortable beds, we all slept great.

Beautiful wooden floors in our 3 bedroom suite but very creaky. Our kids made plenty of noise playing and we were super aware it may have disturbed other guests. We had a few trips here and there on the many little steps.

Location was amazing. 3mins walk to medieval city. Pool was perfect for relaxing and cooling down in afternoon. Staff were amazing and really took the time to look after us and make our stay brilliant.

Room was very small with not a lot of storage space. Had to keep most of clothes in suitcase. Appreciate most people only stay for day or two. We were staying a full week. More space would have improved our stay. Our room was located next to the cleaners cupboard. We did not realise this at first. We just thought guests in the next room were noisy and banging early morning. We soon realised it was the cleaner letting the door self close with a bang multiple times from 7.45am (approximately 50-80 times every morning) It shook the headboard and walls. We did not want to come across as complaining, so did not say anything. Mid week we had a different cleaner for couple of days and did not hear them in and out of the cupboard at all. When one of the reception team asked for feedback on our stay, we did tell them. After late nights enjoying the city it did spoil our morning sleep.
