Excellent spot, very clean n tidy, perfect for halfway accommodation if going fishing at ohope or waiotahi, definitely recommend 👍🏻

Loved the Bach like feel. The beds were really comfy. Dog friendly was a bonus. Very cleverly done

Teenager was sad that the wifi died/ran out on the last morning of our stay.

Everything, the place was beautiful inside and out well worth the money an some homely myself and my family enjoyed our stay and can not wait to come back

Creative use of space and very user friendly holiday pad. Waimana is inland with good positioning to the Northen part of the Urewera Forest. The town is a sleepy Tuhoe settlement with relics of a bustling past. You’ll see locals cruising horseback and taking time for conversation. Though not near the coast, it does serve as a handy launchpad to access beaches West of Whakatāne right around to beaches East of Ōpōtiki.

The setting was amazing. We were left to ourselves after the initial meeting, and the coffee, sugar and tea, along with the breakfast cereals supplied was awesome. Also the towels and tee towels were also a bonus. I would definitely like to stay there again if or when I go up that way again. Big thanks to the hosts for a great stay. Nga mihi.💯😛🥰❤️

Just one thing, the flys, the spray was supplied by the hosts, so that made it easier to deal with, and the fact it is in summer was the other factor. Overall a great experience for someone who had never been that way.
