The view was exceptional! Our bags were carried all the way down the stairs for us, and the host was so friendly.

The guesthouse has a good location, but when travelling by public transport with luggage, it can be quite difficult to get to and from the property. The place has lots of potential, but it needs a little more attention to detail. There were no basic cleaning supplies like a dish cloth or sponge, and although the floors had been mopped, our feet became black from walking barefoot. For the price, we also expected essentials such as hand soap, maybe some shower gel, a bath mat, and more comfortable pillows.(Upon leaving, we found a bag of soaps in a drawer, which made us feel that the property may not have been fully prepared for our arrival) Regarding payment, it would have been much better if payment could have been processed directly through Booking.com, as this provides more security and peace of mind. The property instead sent a separate payment link, which I personally did not feel comfortable using, and my bank in South Africa initially blocked the payment as the platform was not recognised. I’m very thankful to the host, as he eventually processed the payment through Booking.com, but I still ended up spending hours of my holiday on the phone with the bank and felt unnecessarily stressed about the payment while trying to enjoy my trip.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen mit einem tollen Blick über Amalfi und das Meer mit schöner großer Terrasse. Der Vermieter war sehr nett zu uns.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Unterkunft sehr weit entfernt ist und man einige Stufen laufen muss was anstrengend sein kann. Das muss man sich bewusst sein.

Es necesario coordinarse bien para tomar el bus hasta Pogerola o Amalfi
