LA CASA DEL BORGO

We needed a place to sleep with parking. We came late left early. Place was clean with comfortable bed. Good shower and AC was a plus.

Very nice young man greated us and even made a reservation for us in a spectacular pizza place nearby.

Location

In the room there was no kettle, cup, coffee or tea etc. I had to ask owner to provide kettle and cup to make coffee. He brought me a electric stove and a pan to boil water. Then I had to ask him again for a cup and a spoon. That was very embarrassing to have a stove and a pan in the room to make coffee after boiling water in the pan. He still didn’t give me coffee or tea, I had to use my own. I have also asked the owner to provide iron to press my shirts but he refused. The money I paid was for two nights with breakfast. The day I arrived, owner gave me a breakfast voucher with the instructions to go to a nearby cafe for breakfast in the morning against that voucher. I went to that cafe in the morning they gave me a croissant on a tissue paper and a small cup of espresso as the voucher was only for those two things. The owner was supposed to give me another voucher for second day but he didn’t give me the voucher so no breakfast the second morning. In the bathroom there were a few half used bottles of shampoo and shower cream. No soap. There should have been unused toiletries in the bathroom. The owner doesn’t speak English and have no sense of customer service whatsoever. Conclusion: Will NOT stay here again.

Breakfast ok w croissant and cappucino in bat two doors down..Nino was helpful w us in Gangi also the neighboring town i was traveling too. Anthony Migliazzo Grazie
