"A good location close to Porto city but away from the hustle and bustle."

Decent breakdast. Quiet neighbourhood with enough (safe) street parking.. A mere 30 minute walk to Porto. Very good local restaurant and bakery close by. Super friendly owners and their lovely cats.

"A good place to stay for those touring Porto"

The House of Cats is a very good place to stay for those touring Porto and need a room. The owners of the apartment are a couple of girls who rent one of the bedrooms for guests, which is very nicely decorated. The bathroom is extremely nice. Their 3 cats are fun, and two of them are very affectionate. For almost nothing (2 euro per person), a nice breakfast will be provided. The neighborhood is fine, free parking is available, and it's a short taxi ride to downtown Porto and the Douro River. Overall it is a good value with friendly owners (and cats!), and a nice, comfortable place to stay for a few days while you tour the area, but it is not a hotel if that is what you want.
