Aonang Buri Resort

We just spent a week in the Aonang Buri Resort, The staff from the reception, porters, restaurant staff were amazing, could not do enough for you. Large room overlooking the pool, free beach towels ( deposit required). Water refill every day, breakfast staff do helpful. Same lady made my omelette every day. It’s an easy walk to Main Street and beach across the road

Location was acceptable, and close to Ao Nang Nightmarket, but unfortunately nothing else stood out in a positive way.

Very poor service throughout the stay. Long waiting times at check-in and especially after check-out, where I had to wait five hours for transport without access to a proper air-conditioned waiting area — guests are left outside in extreme heat (around 40°C). The room was advertised with direct pool access, but there are no stairs to enter or exit the pool, making it inconvenient and unsafe. This is misleading. Cleanliness was a serious issue — I had large cockroaches in the room. No pool towels were available unless you pay 100 THB, even when using the hotel pool. I was told this while already in the pool area without cash, which is unreasonable. During my entire stay in Thailand, this was the only hotel charging for pool towels. Additionally, limited payment options — I was not able to pay by credit card in certain areas such as the restaurant. Overall, very disappointing experience with lack of basic service, poor hygiene, and misleading room description.

En temporada alta la piscina puede estar muy llena y el horario de uso solo era hasta las 19 hrs
