Hotel Conca d'Oro

The view was amazing. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is on a hill, but the hotel arranged people to carry our bags up. The waiters were very attentive. The staff at reception were also great. They assisted us with restaurant reservations in places where we couldn't get our own reservations. They also assisted with booking our boat tour.

The view from this room was spectacular, the size of the balcony was great, we loved how bright the interior was, the hotel was impeccably clean, and after stopping into other hotels for services we realized how lucky we were to be at this hotel where 95% of staff greeted with a smile and helping hand, and had a level of professionalism other hotels and restaurants lacked. It was wonderful that they had a young man come and carry our luggages up the many stairs. We felt so bad for him having to carry all that weight! Reception provided great recommendations for our trip to Ravello and a very professional taxi service for around Positano as well. We also appreciated the breakfast options.

Our shower/bathtub was leaking out of the base, so we informed the front desk upon leaving the second day and although they said they would have someone look into it, it continued soaking our entire room throughout our stay so we had to use our towels to soak up the water so we didn't slip on slick tiles. The shower-tub itself is also fairly dangerous to get in and out of, due to its height and concave sides and there not being any handles. It was also quite narrow so shower curtain would stick to arms while trying to shower. The bathroom overall was quite visibly outdated and the door into the space impeded quite a bit into the space. Toilet paper was not placed on the stand and rather above our heads on shelf in its packaging. There was no spare toothbrush or q-tips provided. Teas and [instant] coffees were disheveled in their tin. While there was a large closet and an abundance of room to hang clothing, there was a real lack of shelving inside of closet so we had to resort to using the tiny drawers and shelves inside of nightstands across the room from closet. The room could really use a dresser or the addition of shelves on one side of the closet. There was also no full length mirror in the room or hotel; One could easily be installed on the backside of one of the doors of the closet. Some Italian art inside of the room would have been a good addition. The vaulted ceilings were beautiful, and we felt a gorgeous antique chandelier could have really made a statement like in other parts of the hotel, however perhaps hanging fixtures can be dangerous. (Just comments from an interior designer!)

VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR! HOT TUB ON OUR TERRACE WAS AMAZING AND A PERFECT WAY TO SPEND OUR 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! BOTTLE OF PROSECCO ON ARRIVAL DELIVERED TO OUR ROOM WAS A LOVELY UNEXPECTED SURPRISE :) DINNER IN THE HOTEL WAS ALSO REALLY LOVELY - STAFF WERE ALL SO NICE - HIGHLY RATE THIS HOTEL!

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT - THE ONLY THING, WHICH IS VERY MINOR, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION, WOULD BE IF THEY OFFERED A SHUTTLE SERVICE (LIKE A GOLF KART) TO THE BEACH/ MAIN AREA. ALTHOUGH ONLY A 10 MINUTE WALK I DID NOTICE A LOT OF OTHER HOTELS OFFERED THIS SERVICE.

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at Hotel Conca d'Oro in Positano, and I couldn't wait to share my experience! **Views:** The views from this hotel are out of this world. Waking up to the stunning sight of Positano and the Mediterranean every morning was pure bliss. It’s like living in a postcard! **Staff:** The staff here deserves a special shoutout. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely made us feel welcome. From the moment we booked, the communication was top-notch, and they were always available to help with anything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. **Orama Restaurant ** The food was simply delicious. Every meal we had was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful dishes that made us fall in love with Italian cuisine. They even made sure to accommodate dietary restrictions (celiacs) **Overall Experience:** Hotel Conca d'Oro exceeded all our expectations. The combination of breathtaking views, exceptional service, and amazing food made our stay one we’ll never forget. If you’re planning a trip to Positano, do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t be disappointed! We’re already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend! ✨

The walk up from the street or down to Spiaggia Fornillo was a bit of a workout, but honestly, the experience was so incredible that the steps were totally worth it! Great workout...no gym needed.
