Boxo Diani - Unique Beach Front Container Eco-Hotel

Basically beachfront, so great location, very laid back, the value for money is great.

I am not a big fan of AC, but due to monkeys I couldn't air the room any other way.

Très bien situé et excellent rapport qualité prix. La propreté 10/10 et le personnel très disponible. La nourriture est bonne. Agréable surprise tous les matins avec la visite des singes sur l’hôtel

Le manque d’organisation entre le personnel. Mauvaise surprise le dernier jour. Mes vêtements à la laverie n’étaient pas prêt et j’avais mon vol. Ils étaient censé être prêt la veille. On nous a dit ok pour le lendemain 7h. Puis une autre personne nous a dit 8h sauf que nous étions vraiment pressé. Vêtement repassé sur le tas avec 20 min de retard et pas de box petit déjeuner comme précisé la veille. Trop de bruit de la part des touristes mais le personnel fait le nécessaire pour éviter cela.

The staff was nice and helpful, the room was simple, clean and offered good value for money overall. The location is very convenient and close to the beach.

It was a bit noisy, my room was on the ground floor in front of the bar area and I could hear the football match on TV and other guests talking.

1. The hotel was not bad 2. staff were friendly 3. linen were clean 4. the pool was good

1.breakfast, was boring include just a fruit or juice , cereals and other than one slice of bread make it two and another pastry for those who don't eat bread. 2. rooms should be cleaned daily and linen changed daily 3.staff are over worked we could tell when you request for something they take a very long time before it is brought 4.when we complained the staff clearly said the management are aware but they don't take any action. where do the ratings and comments go to 5. i had not done my ratings and comments and the the information where it says your rating has changed means someone fgave ratings and comments we did not give at all

- Location was great, however just to note it's beach access not beachfront. You don't have access to the beachfront unless a LalaGalu guest. This is misleading advertising!! - Value for money was great, we extended our stay as it was convenient and good for what we needed. - Chill area to relax with a nice clean pool, plenty of sun chairs & bean bags. - Safe & secure location with gated security which appealed to us a lot. - Some workers were friendly and accommodating. Accommodation staff were particularly kind and helpful. - AC was great to have in the rooms as an alternative to mosquito nets + fans. - Responsiveness to requests, questions etc was superb via their whatsapp number. This was really helpful if we needed assistance or had any questions through our stay or needed the noise levels reduced at night. - They provided us with lunchboxes on the day we were checking out as we left before breakfast. No extra charge and plenty of food which was a really nice touch!

- Facilities were poor in my opinion, one bottle of water a day between 2 people, no hand soap in the bathroom and frequent flooding due to poor shower drainage. House keeping visits don't make the bed everyday (every 3 days), just replace towels & empty bins. - Wifi was fine when it stayed connected but it disconnected constantly throughout our stay from laptops and phones. We did have maintenance come to us twice about this but they couldn't help as weren't able to find the problem. This was frustrating as we were working remotely and had booked here due to the good wifi reviews. (Room 22) - I did mention that some workers were friendly and accommodating, others not so much. Maintenance workers would often stare and make me uncomfortable and some of the front of house staff had us feeling as though we were an inconvenience to be staying there. - Breakfast could be improved. Over the 10 nights spent at Boxo, not once was the toast fresh or warm when served in the morning, the time it took for breakfast to be served was up to 40 minutes sometimes which is an outrageous wait and then to receive cold food. You do only have two options as well which does get a bit tedious. - When I ordered ginger + honey tea on the menu the waiter explained how much time and effort he'd have to spend to do this for me, explaining that he has to turn on the machines, blend the ginger, etc not really sure what the goal was, don't put things on the menu if it's such an inconvenience to order. - Sometimes the music can be played quite loudly so for early sleepers it plays until 10pm. - Laundry service prices far too high, opted for a local provider instead.
